Gracious loving God please bless the souls of those who have died recently, at home and abroad.

Help their loved one rise above the grief, The pain and the loss and live victoriously in the knowlege that you walk with them every hour.

We ask this in Jesus' name and if it be your will. Amen

I am the wife of a Navy man. I thank God each and every day he is in my life. I cannot put into words the emotions I felt for Traci and her little girls. My heart ached for them. I watched her on TV tonight, looking back on what happened almost a year ago. I've thought of her often, wondering what happened to her and her family. I found out just tonight that her Eddie was one of the victims. I sat on the floor and cried. I'm terrified to send my husband off to work tomorrow, afraid that he won't come home. All I can do is pray. Traci, I'd like to correspond directly with you if you wish, if not, I understand. I will keep you and your girls in my prayers and thoughts.

"Lord you said you would always be there for me in times of hardship and grief, but when I was walking I saw only one set of footprints in the sand. The Lord replied, 'When you saw only one set of footprints in the sand, it was then that I carried you." These words decribe how much He, the Lord loves us and is there for us in times like this. So even though there is only one set of footprints in the sand the Lord is carrying us right now. I Love all of youu and hope that you can cope with this years 9/11. I and the Lord love you. God Bless.

I had a dream in which someone who died in the WTC sang a song, which is a prayer. I woke up remembering all 3 verses, including the tune.
I believe he wanted to get his message to, at the least, his "beloved", but quite possibly to all of us. Here is the prayer/song:

Went to work on 9/11.
Didn't mean to go to heaven.
Not that day; not that way.
Oh, please pray for my soul.

Looking down from above.
Sending you all of my love.
Don't let my life
Be cause for strife.
Oh, please pray for my soul.

Wish I could have said goodbye.
My beloved, please don't cry.
Heed my song:
You must be strong...& do no wrong.
I will pray for your soul.
